One of the coolest paintguns that's surfaced in a while, the Top loader PG prototype.
Jeff Perlmutter and David Freeman traveled to the Sheridan factory to meet with Sheridan president Ray Katt. Katt was looking for a new product to sell and Jeff and David's timing was great.
David explained to me that he wanted a side loader since he thought the top loader would make the pistol too high, but when they tested each prototype it was obvious that the top loader would be the winner, since the side loader was difficult to chamber a ball.
Sheridan built prototypes for PMI and this was one of the prototypes that survived over the years in Jeff Perlmutter's collection.
Jeff isn't 100 percent convinced he wants to let this go so please contact with offers.
Unique attributes of this pistol that set it apart are:
Back sight is unique to only the two prototype models that Jeff owns.
Back and front tube top plugs are removable.
Knurling on back bolt is extra thin.
Lower tube has EB markings which were removed for production PGs. All production PGs in the early runs had NO lower tube markings.
If you'd like to make an offer on this historic and amazing part of paintball history please contact Bacci Paintball.
